As a non-profit, Audubon Nature Institute relies on ticket sales, events, and donations to protect and share the wonders of nature.
Even though Audubon Zoo and Audubon Aquarium of the Americas are open, our ability to generate revenue is still severely limited—leaving us in an unsustainable position to care for your animals and parks. Due to City and State guidelines, attendance is a fraction of normal levels. Reduced ticket, gift shop, and concession sales are not enough to feed and care for the animals you love.
You can play a significant role in addressing this shortfall.
We know this is an uncertain time for everyone, but as a valued part of the Audubon family, we hope you will consider making a special gift to the Audubon Recovery Fund. Your donation will keep our animals thriving as we work to fully reopen and begin the long road ahead to recovery.
We are excited to welcome you back. Your animals missed you as much as you missed them. Together, we can return to a small sense of normalcy. Please make a special gift to the Audubon Recovery Fund to keep your animals happy and healthy.

“Audubon Nature Institute has always played an important part in my family’s life and the lives of so many in our community. We are known for our resilience because we work together in times like these. During this time of uncertainty, I ask you to join us in supporting the Audubon Recovery Fund. Together, we can provide immediate care for Audubon’s animals, green spaces, and other vital operations.”
